How We

GIVE LIGHT

And Why it Matters

LuminAID

ASI # 68185 / PPAI # 754269

1.6 billion people around the world lack proper access to electricity. Many of these people are forced to rely upon dangerous, toxic, and expensive kerosene lanterns as their primary source of light. Through our Give Light, Get Light program, we partner with NGOs and nonprofits all over the world to distribute LuminAID lights to individuals who will greatly benefit from a safe, rechargeable light source. Including lights distributed through Give Light Get Light program, LuminAID has worked with charitable partners to put solar lights and phone chargers on-the-ground in projects in more than 100 countries. Your company can get involved by adding on a "Give a Light" or "Give a Phone Charger" sponsorship to your next custom print order.

Give a Phone Charger

$25/sponsorship (G/V)

Includes a 4"x6" postcard. We distribute the sponsored phone charger on your behalf to the charity of your choice.

Give a Lantern

$10/sponsorship (G/V)

Includes a 4"x6" postcard. We distribute the sponsored lantern on your behalf to the charity of your choice.

Give Light, Get Light

By sponsoring a light for a family in need, you earmark a solar lantern or solar phone charger to go directly to the organization of your choice. We offer our "Give a Light" and "Give a Phone Charger" sponsorships as an optional add-on for custom print orders.

A Meaningful Corporate Gift

For every "Give a Light" or "Give a Phone Charger" sponsorship, we provide a full-color 4"x6" postcard explaining the gift of light made in the recipient's honor. This is a meaningful way to honor your clients.

Who We Work With

Our humanitarian partners work hard to bring relief to communities around the world. We partner with NGOs and nonprofits the world over, including Convoy of Hope, Mercy Corps, and SCM Medical Missions.

About LuminAID

When we think of our most basic human needs, we often think of food, water and shelter. But when architecture graduate students Anna Stork and Andrea Sreshta were asked to design a product to assist post-earthquake relief efforts in Haiti, they considered the dangerous conditions at night in the tent cities and turned their attention to another critical need: light. They designed the LuminAID light to be easily distributed in time of need by packing and shipping flat. To date, through partnerships with NGOs and relief organizations, LuminAID has assisted thousands of women and children by providing access to safe light in dangerous situations. Through the Give Light, Get Light program, customers can purchase a LuminAID light for themselves and sponsor another one to help make light more accessible and sustainable for all.
